The U11 SLNA team led by coach Pham Duc Anh participated in the qualifying round in Region II, competing in Da Nang with 11 participating teams, competing in a round robin to calculate rankings in 2 groups. 04 teams were selected to participate in the final round, including 02 first-place teams and 02 second-place teams in the two groups.
Up to this point, the defending champion U11 SLNA has won 3 consecutive victories. First, coach Pham Duc Anh and his team beat Thai Binh 7-1 on the opening day, then beat Thanh Hoa 6-0 and Quang Ngai 5-1 in the match on the afternoon of July 22.

With the SLNA U13 team, this year, although they are the host team of the final round, coach Phan Tien Hoai and his team still actively and seriously prepare for the qualifying round. The SLNA youth players also won 3 consecutive victories.
First, U13 SLNA beat Quang Ngai 6-0 on the opening day, then beat Binh Dinh 5-0 and in the afternoon match on July 22, the defending champions continued to defeat Quang Nam with a score of 1-0.
Currently, the first youth team to win a medal in 2020 is U19 SLNA with a Bronze medal. The U17 SLNA team is leading Group B in the qualifying round while the U15 SLNA team will start the qualifying round from July 24. The national U21 tournament will be held at the end of the year.
