Border Guard Station 561 holds art exchange on Border Guard Traditional Day

(Baonghean) - To celebrate the 54th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2013) and the 24th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2013), on the evening of March 1, Thanh Thuy - Thanh Chuong Border Guard Station coordinated with the Cultural Propaganda Team of the Political Department - Border Guard of Nghe An province to organize a special cultural exchange program.

Over the past 54 years, along with the growth of the Border Guard force nationwide, Nghe An Border Guard, including Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station, has continuously promoted the heroic tradition of the Vietnam Border Guard, well implemented Uncle Ho's teachings, always united, closely followed the tasks assigned by the Party and the people. At the same time, well implemented the slogan "The station is home, the border is homeland". Over the years, officers and soldiers of Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station have always overcome all difficulties and hardships, closely followed the assigned tasks, closely coordinated with Party committees at all levels, local authorities of border communes, closely followed the grassroots, ate, lived and worked together, shared difficulties with the people; promptly grasped the political security situation in the area, coordinated with militia forces... the station has detected, prevented and effectively handled many social and security crimes, always promoted and maintained security and order in the border area.

The meeting night at the Station was attended by leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command, leaders of Thanh Chuong district, comrades of Thanh Thuy commune, sister units and all officers and soldiers of Station 561.
