Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station: Helping poor military families and dioxin victims

(Baonghean.vn) -On August 24, Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) held a congress of the Military Council for the 2012-2013 term.

During the past term, the Military Council of Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station has promoted its role and responsibility, improved the quality and efficiency of its operations, especially taking care of and improving the material and spiritual life of the unit's officers and soldiers. At this congress, the unit's officers and soldiers organized a donation of 10,800,000 VND to help and support the family of soldier Nguyen Huu Chung whose wife suffered from a serious illness.

In addition, the congress also organized a donation to support dioxin victims with more than 2 million VND.
