Dien Thanh Border Guard Station helps people avoid storm No. 11

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to proactively prevent and mitigate damage caused by storm No. 11, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station has deployed forces to the area to coordinate with local authorities to do a good job of storm prevention.

The unit has sent many working teams to the area, coordinating with the local authorities of Dien Bich and Dien Ngoc communes to urgently call on boats to come ashore to avoid the storm, and to propagate and mobilize boats to anchor at safe ports to avoid collisions.

As of the morning of October 14, over 1,400 fishing boats had docked. The remaining number joined the local authorities in evacuating businesses operating outside the dike to safe places, helping single-parent families with weak elderly and sick families to tie their houses together, and be ready to deal with any situation that may arise.
