Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station helps local people

(Baonghean.vn) - Since the beginning of the year, officers and soldiers of Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station (Provincial Border Guard) have been saving money to create a fund to help people in the area facing difficulties.

The station awarded 2 scholarships "For border security sovereignty" worth 1,800,000 VND to students who overcame difficulties to study well in the area where the unit was stationed, and helped families with preferential policies with 1,000,000 VND.

In addition, the station coordinated with the local health sector to organize medical examinations and treatment for 125 people, and distributed medicine worth 1.5 million VND to people. Dozens of officers and soldiers participated in helping people overcome the consequences of the recent tornado.
