Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station is twinned with BP Company 252 (Laos)

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 11, Thanh Thuy Border Gate Border Post, Nghe An Border Guard held a twinning ceremony with Border Guard Company 252, Military Command of Bolikhamxay Province (Laos).

Representatives of the two units signed the twinning agreement.

At the ceremony, the two units signed the content and coordination program, agreeing that in the coming time, they will regularly exchange and inform about the situation related to both sides of the border; coordinate to fight and effectively prevent the activities of hostile forces that incite disturbances and riots; encroachment activities, violations of laws on both sides of the border...

Strengthen propaganda for people on both sides of the border to comply with and strictly implement the Vietnam - Laos Border Regulation Agreement. Advise local Party committees and authorities on both sides to improve the effectiveness of the twinning of villages on both sides of the border, creating conditions for people on both sides of the border to help each other develop the economy, culture, and society, gradually improving their material and spiritual lives.

Actively coordinate and support each other in preventing natural disasters, epidemics, search and rescue and other humanitarian assistance. In case of unexpected incidents related to both sides of the border, the units must notify each other to coordinate and help resolve them promptly.

According to the signed minutes, the two sides will hold talks every quarter to evaluate the coordination in border management and protection; and report to superiors to handle issues arising during the implementation of the regulations.
