In recent times, along with the movement of the provincial border youth, the Youth Union of Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station has created models of activities suitable to the conditions and characteristics of the unit. Notably, it has organized a campaign to encourage children who have dropped out of school to return to school, helped poor children who are good at studying in the area under its management, saved money and donated 7 "For border security and sovereignty" scholarships to excellent students of secondary schools in the area worth 4.5 million VND. In addition, it has promoted international volunteer activities such as actively and effectively participating in bilateral patrol activities, regular meetings with Lao border guards, joining hands to build a peaceful, friendly, cooperative border for mutual development.
