Welcoming the remains of 98 martyrs who died in Laos back to their homeland

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 12, in Muong Xen town, the Party Committee, government, people and armed forces of Ky Son district held a ceremony to welcome back the remains of 98 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who heroically fought and sacrificed in the provinces of Vientiane, Xay Xom Bun and Xieng Khouang (Lao PDR).
People along Highway 7A - Welcoming martyrs from Laos back home

On April 22, in Xieng Khouang province - Lao PDR, right after the handover ceremony of 72 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos, the Nghe An Provincial Special Working Group organized a ceremony to bring the remains of the martyrs back to the country. On April 23, people on National Highway 7A gathered on both sides of the road with red flags with yellow stars and the Lao flag to welcome the soldiers back to their homeland.
