Familiar unit owns exclusive copyright of U23 Southeast Asia tournament 2025
FPT Play officially announced that it has become the exclusive copyright owner of the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship.
The Vietnam U23 team, under the leadership of coach Kim Sang-sik, will participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship, taking place from July 15 to 29 in Indonesia. As the reigning champion, Vietnam U23 aims to defend the title and aim for a third time.
FPT Play has secured broadcasting rights across all infrastructures including cable, terrestrial, satellite, IPTV, internet, public screening and social media. This means that fans can watch matches on a variety of devices and platforms at their convenience.

According to the draw results, U23 Vietnam is in Group B with Cambodia and Laos. The team will face U23 Laos on July 19 and U23 Cambodia on July 22. Currently, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team are training in Ba Ria-Vung Tau to prepare for the tournament.
The team list has been shortened from 36 to 28 players, and before leaving for Indonesia, coach Kim Sang-sik will finalize the official list of 23 players according to regulations.
The 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship is considered an important opportunity for U23 Vietnam to train its forces, aiming for a bigger goal at the 33rd SEA Games taking place in Thailand at the end of the year. With the position of the No. 1 seed at the regional sports festival, U23 Vietnam is receiving many expectations from fans.
