'Nord Stream-2' has laid more than 50% of the gas pipeline volume
Nord Stream 2 AG, in the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline construction project, has laid 1,200 km of pipeline, which accounts for more than half of the total length.

"According to the permits received in four countries, the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline continues in Russia, Finland, Sweden and Germany. More than 1,200 km of two gas pipeline routes have been laid - more than half of the total length of the project," the company said in a statement.
The Nord Stream 2 project envisages the construction of two gas pipelines with a total capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year from the Russian coast through the Baltic Sea to Germany. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2019.
