At the meeting, Tan Ky District People's Council approved the proposal to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuy - Chairman of the District People's Council for the 17th term, 2011-2016, from the position of Chairman of the District People's Council and elected Mr. Bui Thanh Bao, Secretary of the District Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Council for the 17th term, 2011-2016 with the result of 36/36 votes in favor.
