Comrade Dang Thuc Hua (1870-1931): Dedicated to the revolution, wholeheartedly devoted to the Fatherland.
Comrade Dang Thuc Hua, also known as Ngo Sinh, was born in 1870 in Luong Dien village, Bich Hao commune (now Thanh Xuan commune), Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province.
His father, Dang Thuc Hai, passed the Bachelor's examination in the 31st year of Tu Duc (1887) and was appointed as a teacher in Quang Tri province. Later, he was appointed as the district chief of Thanh Hoa. When the French colonialists occupied Thanh Hoa, Dang Thai Hai resigned from his position and returned to teach in his hometown, while also participating in the patriotic movement.
His mother was Dinh Thi Hoa, daughter of Dr. Dinh Nho Dien (from Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province). She was an intelligent, capable woman with a patriotic spirit.
Dang Thuc Hua had an older brother, Dang Thai Son, and a younger brother, Dang Quy Hoi, both of whom participated in revolutionary activities.

Growing up, Dang Thuc Hua studied Chinese characters and passed the provincial examination in 1900. However, Dang Thuc Hua did not enter official service but joined the Duy Tan Society in 1904. Together with his younger brother, Dang Thuc Hua established a farming camp in Da Bia, built the Hung Nghiep Society in Cho Dang, provided funding for comrades going abroad, and raised money to purchase weapons to fight against the French colonialists.
In 1908, Dang Thuc Hua went to Japan. The Dong Du movement was unsuccessful, so in 1910, Dang Thuc Hua and Phan Boi Chau returned to Siam (Thailand) to implement a plan to build a base from which patriots could travel to China to seek a way to save the country, as well as to provide long-term support for the revolutionary movement in Vietnam.

In Siam, Dang Thuc Hua and his colleagues surveyed and researched, gathering forces to build a base in Ban Dong, Phi Chit district, Pixanuloc province.
Members trained by Dang Thuc Hua in Siam, upon arriving in Guangzhou (China), became the core force of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc, such as:Ho Tung Mau,Le Hong Son, Le Hong Phong, Phung Chi Kien, Le Thiet Hung, Truong Van Linh...
On August 26, 1926, Dang Thuc Hua founded the Association of Vietnamese Overseas in Siam. From then on, the connection among Vietnamese expatriates was further strengthened and more tightly organized.
In 1927, leader Nguyen Ai Quoc visited Siam. Although Dang Thuc Hua did not have much time to meet with Nguyen Ai Quoc, he underwent a very important transformation in his thinking. From then on, Dang Thuc Hua decided to follow "the revolutionary path outlined by Nguyen Ai Quoc."
The Communist Party of Vietnam was founded on February 3, 1930. By mid-1930, in Ban Dong, Phichit district, Pixanulok province (Siam), the first Communist Party of Vietnam branch for overseas Vietnamese was established. Comrade Dang Thuc Hua was the first communist party member at the age of 60. Despite his advanced age, with the spirit of a communist party member and in his leadership position, Dang Thuc Hua overcame difficulties and hardships, actively working and, together with overseas Vietnamese in Siam, hướng towards the homeland, following the path of the struggle for national liberation.
The activities of Comrade Dang Thuc Hua and Vietnamese expatriates in Siam made a significant contribution to our country's revolution.
On February 12, 1931, in Noong Bua, Comrade Dang Thuc Hua passed away after a long work trip. He left behind a legacy of deep sorrow among his comrades and the Vietnamese diaspora in Siam.
