Comrade Dang Thuc Hua (1870-1931): Committed to the revolution, wholeheartedly devoted to the Fatherland
Comrade Dang Thuc Hua, whose real name was Ngo Sinh, was born in 1870 in Luong Dien village, Bich Hao commune (now Thanh Xuan commune), Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province.
His father, Dang Thuc Hai, passed the bachelor's exam in the 31st year of Tu Duc (1887) and was appointed as the Quang Tri Province Instructor, then the Thanh Hoa District Chief. When the French colonialists occupied Thanh Hoa, Dang Thai Hai resigned from office and returned to teach in his hometown, while participating in the patriotic movement.
His mother was Dinh Thi Hoa, daughter of Dr. Dinh Nho Dien (from Huong Son district, Ha Tinh). She was an intelligent, capable and patriotic woman.
Dang Thuc Hua had an older brother, Dang Thai Son, and a younger brother, Dang Quy Hoi, who both participated in revolutionary activities.

Growing up, Dang Thuc Hua studied Chinese characters and passed the provincial exam in 1900. However, Dang Thuc Hua did not become an official but joined the Duy Tan Association in 1904. Dang Thuc Hua and his younger brother opened a Cay Camp in Da Bia, built a Hung Nghiep Association in Dang market, took care of expenses for colleagues going abroad and raised money to buy weapons to fight against the French colonialists.
In 1908, Dang Thuc Hua went to Japan. The Dong Du movement was unsuccessful. In 1910, Dang Thuc Hua and Phan Boi Chau returned to Siam (Thailand) to carry out a plan to build a base from which patriots could go to China to find a way to save the country, as well as to help the domestic revolutionary movement in the long term.

In Siam, Dang Thuc Hua and his colleagues surveyed, researched and gathered forces to build a base in Ban Dong, Phi Chit district, Pixanuloc province.
The members trained by Dang Thuc Hua in Siam, when they went to Guangzhou (China) became the core force of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc such as:Ho Tung Mau,Le Hong Son, Le Hong Phong, Phung Chi Kien, Le Thiet Hung, Truong Van Linh...
On August 26, 1926, Dang Thuc Hua founded the Association of Overseas Vietnamese in Siam. From here, the association of overseas Vietnamese was further promoted and organized more closely.
In 1927, leader Nguyen Ai Quoc went to Siam. Although the time spent with leader Nguyen Ai Quoc was not much, Dang Thuc Hua had a very important change in his thinking. From then on, Dang Thuc Hua decided to follow the "Revolutionary Path outlined by Nguyen Ai Quoc".
The Communist Party of Vietnam was born (February 3, 1930). In mid-1930, in Ban Dong, Phi Chit district, Pixanuloc province (Siam), the first Vietnamese overseas Communist Party cell was established. Comrade Dang Thuc Hua was the first communist party member at the age of 60. Despite his old age, with the spirit of a communist party member and in charge, Dang Thuc Hua overcame difficulties and hardships, actively worked and together with overseas Vietnamese in Siam turned towards the Fatherland, following the path of fighting for national liberation.
The activities of comrade Dang Thuc Hua and overseas Vietnamese in Siam made important contributions to our country's revolution.
On February 12, 1931, in Noong Bua, comrade Dang Thuc Hua passed away after a long business trip. He left behind many condolences from his comrades and overseas Vietnamese in Siam.
