Specifically, Quynh Luu district has planted 5,800 hectares of rice and 1,500 hectares of peanuts; Dien Chau district has planted 6,000 hectares of rice (67% of the plan), planted 2,145 hectares of peanuts (65% of the plan), and planted 350 hectares of corn; Yen Thanh district has planted more than 12,000 hectares of rice/13,400 hectares of the plan, planted 350 hectares of corn, 150 hectares of peanuts, and has also developed many more areas of various vegetables.

However, he also reminded localities not to be subjective, it is necessary to have measures to strengthen inspection work, closely monitor the fields to have effective measures to prevent pests and diseases after planting.

In particular, currently, Yen Thanh and Quynh Luu have outbreaks of avian influenza. Localities must strengthen epidemic surveillance to promptly handle, localize and suppress the epidemic, and prevent it from spreading.
