Comrade Ho Duc Phoc congratulated the College of Culture and Arts on Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20

(Baonghean) -On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, this morning November 18, comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province came to present flowers and congratulate the teachers of Nghe An College of Culture and Arts.

Also attending were comrade Ho Ngoc Sy - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and a number of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Nghe An College of Culture and Arts was established in 1967. In recent years, the school has focused on improving the quality of teaching and learning. In the 2011-2012 school year, the school has 85 teachers, of which 45 have master's degrees and 03 have doctorates. The total number of students is 1,074, trained in 3 forms: college, intermediate and inter-university (inter-university and work-study) with 10 regular college majors, 03 intermediate majors, 08 regular inter-college majors. Cooperating with universities to train 05 university-level majors. Retraining for staff working in the field of culture and arts in the districts. Currently, the school is actively implementing the Project to build and develop Nghe An College of Culture and Arts in the period 2011-2020. The school collective was honored to propose the Government and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to award the Emulation Flag for excellent performance in the 2010-2011 school year.



Comrade Ho Duc Phoc presented flowers to congratulate and talked intimately with the school's staff and teachers.

Speaking to the school's teachers, comrade Ho Duc Phoc congratulated the school on its achievements. He hoped that the school would focus on completing its tasks for the 2011-2012 school year, investing in building facilities, attracting many dedicated and highly qualified staff and teachers to work at the school. There would be a training program for staff working in cultural and artistic activities in the localities. The school would be upgraded towards becoming a university, striving to become a high-quality cultural and artistic training center in the North Central region.
