(Baonghean.vn) - With a spirit of democracy and high responsibility, the Yen Thanh District Congress wisely elected 41 qualified comrades to the 26th District Party Committee, term 2015-2020, ensuring the right direction and structure.

On the afternoon of July 22, the 26th Yen Thanh District Party Committee held its first meeting. Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee; Comrades Nguyen Viet Hung and Phan Van Tuyen were elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the District Party Committee.

The Congress also announced the election results of 19 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 18th Provincial Party Congress; voted to approve the summary of draft comments at the Congress, including: Documents of the 12th National Congress of the Party; Political report of the 18th Provincial Party Congress; Report on standards, structure, and number of personnel of the 18th Provincial Party Executive Committee, term 2015-2020; 100% of delegates voted in favor of the draft Resolution proposed by the Congress.

On behalf of the District Party Committee, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Secretary of Yen Thanh District Party Committee presented flowers to 13 members of the 25th District Party Committee who did not participate in the new Party Committee due to retirement age and job transfer.
