Comrade Le Quang Huy works in Tuong Duong district

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 28, 2014, comrade Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Provincial Party Committee Office, and Provincial Ethnic Committee visited and worked with Tuong Duong district.

The delegation visited the economic model of Mr. Tong Van Chien's family in Bai So village, Tam Quang commune; this is a model combining livestock and crop farming, with an initial income of 100 million VND/year. Currently, the family has invested in planting sugarcane, 200 red-fleshed dragon fruit trees, raising wild pigs, goats, and cows for a stable income. This is a model of a poor household rising to become a wealthy household with high sustainability.

The delegation worked with the Party Committee of Tam Quang commune. After listening to the Party Secretary report on the results achieved in the past time, comrade Le Quang Huy highly appreciated the economic, cultural and social development; Party building work; he emphasized that in the coming time, the commune needs to focus on hunger eradication and poverty reduction, expanding and replicating economic models, reducing the rate of poor households (the commune's poverty rate is 33.4%); limiting the situation of spontaneous immigration; focusing on building a strong political system, reviewing and completing the targets and targets of the Party Congress; focusing on directing the Congress of the subordinate Party cells towards the Party Congress of the commune for the term 2015-2020.

The comrades in the delegation discussed a number of issues that need attention in the work of building new rural areas, the work of managing the Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir, the work of managing gold mining, building the political system, developing party members in private enterprises, managing cadres, managing people who do not migrate freely, etc.

With the spirit of frank and open exchange, removing obstacles from the grassroots, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee shared the difficulties of the district, at the same time exchanged recommendations and proposals of the district and oriented some contents to focus on in the coming time, including focusing on preparations for the Party Congress for the term 2015-2020 from the grassroots to the district level in the first and second quarters of 2015; strengthening the development of community tourism; actively building a strong grassroots political system; developing a specific plan to implement Notice No. 1142-TB/TU dated June 18, 2014 of the Provincial Party Committee on the opinion of the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee working with the Standing Committee of the Tuong Duong District Party Committee.
