During the 2020 - 2025 term, promoting the role of the core leader, the Party Committee of the Department of HealthNghe Anhas closely followed the orientation of the Central Government, the province and the practical situation; promoted the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, and innovation in leadership and direction to comprehensively complete assigned political tasks.
The Party Committee of the Department of Health has effectively led the implementation of the Central Resolutions on the protection and care of people's health; at the same time, effectively organized the implementation of assigned tasks in Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW dated July 30, 2013 and Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW dated July 18, 2023 of the Politburo on the construction and development of Nghe An province.

The professional targets include: Achieving > 50 hospital beds/10,000 people; 17 doctors/10,000 people; 95% of communes meeting National Health Standards; 100% of commune/ward health stations have doctors; the rate of children under 5 years old with stunting malnutrition is under 19%; over 90% of children under 1 year old are fully vaccinated...
Regarding Party building, over 90% of Party organizations "Completed their tasks well", of which 15-20% "Completed their tasks excellently"; 100% of Party cells held thematic activities at least 4 times/year; strived to admit 30-35 new Party members during the term; over 95% of Party members were classified as completing their tasks well every year; implemented the model of "5 Good Party Cells", "5 Good Party Members" in 100% of affiliated Party cells.
The Party Committee of the Department of Health has proposed 3 breakthroughs that need to be focused on during the 2025-2030 term, including: Re-planning the network of medical facilities from the province to the commune level, ensuring effective, efficient and effective operations; developing a smart and convenient medical system to improve the quality of examination, treatment and health care for the people; strengthening the development of medical human resources in both quantity and quality, focusing on advising on building policies to attract and effectively use medical staff, ensuring health security.
Innovation and development of a synchronous and specialized healthcare system
Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and commended the achievements, dedication and silent sacrifices that the Party Committee of the Department of Health and all cadres and employees of the health sector have achieved in the past term.
Agreeing with the goals, tasks and solutions set forth by the congress, he proposed that the Party Committee of the Department of Health focus on advising the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee on planning and perfecting the State apparatus towards streamlining, effective and efficient operations, suitable to the characteristics of the situation and development requirements of the province.
The Party Committee of the Department of Health focuses on leading, directing, and resolving bottlenecks in the sector that are still causing frustration for society and the people; enhancing the governance role of the sector; best implementing the breakthroughs that the sector has chosen; changing the management model at commune health stations; improving the capacity of the preventive health system and grassroots health, truly becoming solid "fortresses" to protect people's health early and from afar.
Focus on building a strong and clean cadre team. Each cadre and party member of the medical sector must be both “red” and “professional”, and must truly be a shining example of medical ethics “deep in medical theory, good at medical skills, rich in medical ethics”.
Regarding Party building, comrade Bui Dinh Long suggested that the Party Committee of the Department of Health should focus on innovating leadership methods on the basis of ensuring compliance with the Party's principles, especially the principles of democratic centralism, collective leadership, and individual responsibility. Focus on political and ideological education, training revolutionary ethics for cadres and party members.
