(Baonghean.vn) -After discovering the car and 4 bodies swept away by floodwaters in Ang stream, authorities had the family identify the people who found them and continued to search for the body of Vu Ba Hai (6 years old) who was missing when the car was swept away.

On the morning of September 22, comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Hong Ky - Director of the Department of Transport; Vi Van Dinh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district, along with representatives of agencies, departments, Military Region 4, and the Provincial Military Command, were present at the location where the Inova car was discovered to direct plans to bring the bodies of the victims ashore and salvage the car.
Comrade Le Xuan Dai directed the search for the remaining bodies, and discussed plans to bring the bodies ashore as well as salvage the vehicle swept away by the flood.
A hut was set up at the river's edge to collect the bodies. Standing on the shore, relatives of the victims' families cried and wailed.
At 10:00 a.m. on September 22, Mr. Tran Van Ngo, the lucky survivor of the Inova car swept away by the flood, arrived at Khe Ang bank to identify the bodies in the car. According to the results, 4 bodies were found: Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nham (Mr. Ngo's wife), Phan Thi Duong (also known as Mrs. Mui), Mr. Ngo's in-law, Ms. Tran Thi Nga (Mr. Ngo's daughter) and Vo Thi Linh (Ms. Nga's daughter). To date, the body of Vu Ba Hai has not been found.

At the Ang stream bank, comrade Le Xuan Dai asked the search team to continue to re-examine the entire Ang stream, paying attention to suspicious spots to look for the body of the missing Hai. At the bottom of the stream, high-speed boats of the military and police forces were trying to search. On the shore, thousands of people stood tightly, standing in the sun watching the search team below.
On the morning of September 22, the water level of Khe Ang had dropped, many people could walk across the spillway but the water was still flowing very strongly. When we arrived at the scene, we saw an Inova car being dragged in a mud boat, right next to a reed bush, the front of the car facing up, the rear trunk door was open. Inside the car, some fruits and a woman's handbag were still intact, the entire car inside was covered in red mud.
Search teams are continuing to comb all areas of Khe Ang.
After completing the process of bringing the victims' bodies home for burial, the 414th Engineer Brigade dispatched two large Rin trucks to the scene to pull the Inova car ashore. By 12:30 p.m., the salvage of the car was basically completed. The car was handed over to the police force for investigation and handling.
The Inova car was brought ashore.
The search for the remaining child's body is still ongoing.
