(Baonghean.vn)-On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2012, comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, after visiting, giving gifts and wishing a Happy New Year in Ky Son district, this morning, January 13, he visited cadres, people of all ethnic groups and armed forces stationed in Tuong Duong district. Accompanying him was comrade Nguyen Ho Canh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district.

In Tuong Duong, the delegation visited, presented gifts and wished a Happy New Year to the following units: District Police, Tuong Duong District Military Command and Border Guard Station 549 stationed in Tam Quang Commune. Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to policy families and poor households: Mr. Vi Xuan Quy, a 1/4 disabled soldier and the family of Ms. Kha Thi Pong in Phong village, Thach Giam commune; Mr. Vu Hong Tan, a 4/4 disabled soldier and the family of Mr. Kha Van Thuan - a poor household in Cay Me village, Thach Giam commune. They visited, presented gifts and wished a Happy New Year to the cadres, workers, medical staff, doctors and some seriously ill patients being treated at the District General Hospital and the Tuong Duong District Medical Center.

Comrade Le Xuan Dai kindly visited and presented gifts to two police officers injured while on duty during a crime sweep, currently being treated at Tuong Duong General Hospital.

Talking to the visiting units and agencies, comrade Le Xuan Dai briefly reported on the socio-economic development of the province in 2011. On behalf of the provincial leaders, he praised the achievements of the units; shared the difficulties of the mountainous district of Tuong Duong, he hoped that the armed units stationed in the district would continue to promote the achievements, gain many outstanding achievements in the new year. Proactively prepare plans for all situations, ensure the number of troops on duty during Tet. Coordinate with units in the area to patrol to ensure political security, social order and safety, and strong border security before, during and after Tet so that people can have a peaceful Tet.
