Her life and career are a torch that illuminates and inspires many generations to come.
Draindedicate one's life to the revolution

Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, real name Nguyen Thi Vinh, was born on September 30, 1910 in Vinh Yen commune, now Thanh Vinh ward (Nghe An province), in a family with a revolutionary tradition. 8 brothers and sisters in comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai's family all followed the revolution, including her younger sister, martyr Nguyen Thi Quang Thai (first wife of late General Vo Nguyen Giap).
It was her hometown and family traditions that helped Nguyen Thi Minh Khai early nurture great ambitions and the desire to contribute to the nation.

While still in school, comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and her friends organized a fundraiser to buy flowers and cloth to make mourning bands to attend the memorial service for patriot Phan Chau Trinh and signed a petition demanding the French colonialists to release Phan Boi Chau... In 1927, at the age of 17, she joined the Tan Viet Revolutionary Party, taking the alias Minh Khai. From here, the girl from Nghe An became a typical female face in the revolutionary movement.
In 1930, comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai was sent by the Central Committee to China to work as secretary for leader Nguyen Ai Quoc at the Eastern Office of the Communist International. Under his direct guidance, she quickly matured in theory, organization and political capacity.

A year later, he was arrested by the British colonialists in collusion with the French colonialists and the reactionary government in Guangzhou. Despite being tortured and beaten, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai was not subdued. Thanks to the intervention of the Red International, in 1933, he was released, continued to contact comrade Le Hong Phong and participated in leading the revolutionary movement abroad.
In 1935, at the 7th Congress of the Communist International in Moscow, comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai delivered a resounding speech, strongly condemning the crimes of French colonialism, affirming the indomitable will of the Vietnamese people. The image of a young, intelligent, and courageous woman representing the Vietnamese revolution stepping onto the international stage left a deep impression. After that, she continued to study at the Oriental University, further training in revolutionary theory and expertise.

In 1937, returning to Saigon, assigned to work at the Southern Regional Party Committee, comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai directly wrote many articles published in the People's Newspaper. At the same time, she called on Vietnamese women to follow the example of Soviet women, actively participate, and become an important force in the revolutionary movements led by our Party.

When World War II broke out, the Indochina revolutionary movement was severely suppressed. He was appointed Secretary of the Saigon - Cho Lon City Party Committee, directly following the grassroots and directing the revolutionary struggles of workers and women.
In early 1940, just a few days after giving birth to her first and only child, comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai had to leave her child to continue her revolutionary work, directing the Southern Regional Party Committee to prepare for the uprising. But on July 30, 1940, her base was exposed, and she fell into the enemy's hands. During the 8 months she was imprisoned at Catinat police station and Saigon Central Prison, the enemy used all kinds of torture, even arranged a meeting with comrade Le Hong Phong in the hope of breaking her will, but all failed.

In August 1941, the colonial court sentenced Nguyen Thi Minh Khai to death, and she died at the age of 31. In front of the enemy's guns, she and her comrades tore off their blindfolds and boldly shouted: "Long live the Indochinese Communist Party! Long live the success of the Vietnamese revolution!" This statement became an immortal oath, affirming the spirit of absolute loyalty to the Party and the nation.
Before that, during his days in the dark prison, he had also carved on the wall in blood the steadfast verses: “Whether beaten or hung, I will be more determined. Whether pinned or clamped, I will not break my word. Sacrifice and strive for the mission. Practice thoroughly until death.” It is a "manifesto" in blood, deeply engraved with the spirit of an exemplary female communist soldier.
Comrade Le Duan - General Secretary of the Party Central Committee, when mentioning the life of comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, wrote: "I have met and worked with many female cadres, but have not seen anyone with the consciousness to rise up and take on the role of revolutionary leadership like comrade Minh Khai."
Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai is a model of loyalty, a convergence of intelligence, bravery and sacrifice. From the land of Nghe An, she stepped out into the international arena, bringing the voices of women and the Vietnamese people to the world forum. From the international forum, she returned to directly lead the workers' and women's movement in the South. And before the enemy's execution ground, she portrayed an immortal portrait of a communist.
