On the afternoon of July 24, Mr. Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee inspected the actual situation of flood recovery in border communes. Accompanying him were Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and related units.
The working group inspected Tri Le commune, after the flood caused by storm No. 3, Huoi Moi village, Tri Le border commune had 3 houses of 3 households completely swept away. The 16 km long road from Huoi Moi village to the commune center had 20 landslides, causing this area to remain isolated until the end of today.

In Nhon Mai commune, preliminary statistics show that one person died due to a landslide, 28 houses were completely swept away, 15 houses were severely damaged, and 48 houses needed urgent evacuation. Many civil works and people's properties were destroyed, with an estimated loss of nearly 240 billion VND. Because they are still isolated, people are focusing on overcoming the consequences after the water recedes to stabilize their lives soon.

After inspecting the scene, comrade Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee encouraged and shared the difficulties and losses with the people in the flood-affected areas, and at the same time directed the forces to urgently deploy key tasks.
Forces and localities need to focus on repairing the traffic infrastructure connecting villages and communes to ensure travel and access to relief. Urgently repair the power system to serve daily life and production needs. Focus on restoring the information and communication system to ensure smooth command and operation.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Immediately after completing the above urgent tasks, localities need to focus on environmental sanitation, waste treatment, disease prevention; at the same time, ensure adequate supply of food, clean water, and support people to soon stabilize their lives.
