(Baonghean.vn) -On the occasion of the Year of the Dragon, today, January 19 (December 26), comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee visited, presented gifts and wished a happy new year to the Party Committee, government, people and armed forces of Que Phong and Quy Chau districts. Accompanying were representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
In Que Phong district, comrade Phan Dinh Trac and the delegation visited, presented gifts and wished a happy new year to officers and soldiers of the Military Command, District Police, and Border Guard Station 515 (located in Thong Thu commune, Que Phong). The Provincial Party Secretary commended the achievements that officers and soldiers of the units had achieved in the past year, and at the same time requested officers and soldiers of the units to continue promoting the achieved results to build a strong force, meet the requirements of the assigned tasks, especially to maintain peace for people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet.

On the same afternoon, the Provincial Party Secretary went to Quy Chau district to extend New Year greetings to the Party Committee, government, people and armed forces; visited, wished a happy new year and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the District Military Command and Police, and visited the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Lu Thi Lan (95 years old, Hong Tien 1 village, Chau Tien commune); Mrs. Lu Thi Thien (Hat village, Chau Tien commune) whose two children are martyrs; Mr. Sam Van Chi (Thuan Lap village, Chau Hanh commune) whose family is in difficult circumstances. The delegation also visited and presented a longevity banner to Mr. Hun Quang Kinh (90 years old, Dong Minh village, Chau Hanh commune), former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
