(Baonghean.vn) -This morning (September 3), Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee had a meeting with a delegation of experts from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) led by Professor Tsuboi Yoshiharu - Senior Advisor on National Development Strategy for Vietnam, who visited and worked in Nghe An for 3 days (September 3 - September 5).

At the meeting, Professor Tsuboi Yoshiharu said the purpose of the delegation's working trip to Nghe An this time was to conduct a field survey and improve the effectiveness of policy consulting to contribute to the economic development of Nghe An province. Specifically, the delegation will learn about the progress of the KOBELCO steel plant project, the province's human resource development work and the process of restoration and construction of the Kim Lien relic site.

Over the years, the relationship between the two countries has made great strides and become a strategic partnership. Professor Tsuboi Yoshiharu also expressed his desire to strengthen and further develop cooperation so that Nghe An can develop its potential and advantages.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac highly appreciated Japan's assistance to Vietnam in general and Nghe An province in particular in recent years. Also during this meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary informed the delegation of some highlights of the local socio-economic development situation.

This afternoon, the delegation continued to have a working session with comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
