At the meeting, voters of Thu Thuy ward made recommendations and proposals on a number of issues of concern, such as: Policies for people with meritorious services need to be studied and adjusted so that war invalids and martyrs' relatives can stabilize their lives; procedures for granting policies are still cumbersome and bureaucratic; allowances for ward and commune officials are still low and not commensurate with the work they must undertake... The settlement of complaints, especially in the field of land, is still slow; the work of ensuring traffic safety is still lax, so traffic accidents have increased recently. The issuance of land use right certificates is slow to be resolved and takes too long; prices of many goods have increased, affecting people's lives.
On behalf of the National Assembly delegation, comrade Phan Dinh Trac received the recommendations and proposals of voters. He also explained a number of issues within his authority, and at the same time received the recommendations and proposals of voters to submit to the National Assembly and the Government in the next session.
