(Baonghean.vn) -Continuing the program of meeting voters after the 4th session of the 13th National Assembly, this afternoon, November 26, at Dien Bich commune (Dien Chau district), the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, including comrades: Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province; Pham Van Tan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province had a meeting with voters of Dien Ngoc and Dien Bich communes.
Comrade Phan Dinh Trac explains issues of concern to voters
At the meeting, comrade Pham Van Tan reported the results of the 4th session of the 13th National Assembly and the activities of the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation at the recent session. The issue that most voters in the two coastal communes are interested in is that the State should pay attention to subsidizing gasoline prices, creating conditions for fishermen to borrow preferential loans to develop the seafood catching industry as well as develop fishing logistics; invest in building storm shelters for fishermen's boats, avoiding losses when storms and floods occur. There should be investment policies to support canals and traffic serving the salt fields, creating output and stabilizing salt prices, in order to improve the lives of salt farmers. Some voters also proposed to the State to take measures to strictly handle cases of fake war invalids and fake Agent Orange regimes, have a burial regime for demobilized soldiers, and improve the regime for grassroots cadres.
Voters reflect their thoughts and aspirations to National Assembly representatives
Comrade Phan Dinh Trac explained a number of issues: regarding investment in building wharves for boats to shelter from storms, our province has been implementing construction for each commune cluster, not for each locality, because the state budget is limited. Regarding the need to support annual martyr worship money, the National Assembly and the Government have taken note of voters' opinions and have just issued the Ordinance on preferential treatment for people with meritorious services, stipulating the annual martyr worship money support level for relatives and martyr worshipers at 0.4% of basic salary.
Regarding the suggestion that there should be a policy for old and weak party members, he affirmed that each party member joins the party to contribute and sacrifice their whole life for the Party. The Party has a policy of awarding badges of 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 years of party membership, which is also the Party's recognition of party members with many years of party membership. Explaining the issue of students and university graduates not being able to find jobs, comrade Phan Dinh Trac shared: Every year, the whole province has 24,000 children graduating from universities and colleges. If all of them apply to state agencies, it will be very difficult because of the prescribed number of positions. Therefore, any job with legitimate income can be done, not necessarily in state agencies. He also noted the issues that voters reflected and proposed to report to the Central, the province and the district.
