Comrade Son Minh Thang holds the position of Party Secretary of the Central Agencies Bloc
On the afternoon of January 2, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
Attending the Conference were comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organizing Committee.

At the Conference, comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's Decision assigning comrade Son Minh Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Southwestern Steering Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies for the 2015-2020 term.
Previously, the Politburo transferred and assigned comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies for the 2015-2020 term, to cease participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and cease holding the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies for the 2015-2020 term, to participate in the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.
Presenting the decisions and speaking at the conference, comrade Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the Politburo and the Secretariat had carefully, objectively, comprehensively considered, weighed many aspects and highly agreed on assigning comrades Nguyen Quang Duong and Son Minh Thang to take on new tasks. These are cadres who have received basic training and grown from the grassroots, and in any position, they have strived to complete all assigned tasks well.
Comrade Pham Minh Chinh believes that with the dedicated help of comrades and colleagues, continuing to inherit the achievements and experiences of previous generations, with capacity, intelligence and steadfast political will, in their new positions, comrades Nguyen Quang Duong and Son Minh Thang will make every effort, overcome difficulties and challenges, and complete all assigned tasks.
Expressing the honor of being assigned new tasks by the Politburo, comrades Nguyen Quang Duong and Son Minh Thang affirmed that they will strive to complete the assigned tasks well.
