Comrade Vo Van Thuong - First Secretary of the Central Youth Union offered incense to commemorate the martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force at Truong Bon

On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, recently, comrade Vo Van Thuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, visited and offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force at Truong Bon historical relic site - My Son commune, Do Luong - Nghe An.

(Baonghean) -On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, recently, comrade Vo Van Thuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, visited and offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force at Truong Bon historical relic site - My Son commune, Do Luong - Nghe An.

Also in the delegation were comrade Phan Van Mai - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Thai Thanh Quy - Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union.

Here, after offering incense, flowers and commemorating the heroic martyrs of Truong Bon Youth Volunteers, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hieu - 92 years old in Hamlet 10, My Son Commune. Mrs. Hieu is a relative of martyr Nguyen Tat Hieu who sacrificed his life in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Mrs. Hieu was also the person who had helped and cared for the Youth Volunteers while they were on duty on the Truong Bon fire line.

This is an activity that demonstrates the morality of remembering the source of drinking water, the sense of responsibility and gratitude of the young generations towards those who have contributed to the country.
