6.5 magnitude earthquake shakes central Indonesia

According to Reuters and AFP, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) announced that at 2:46 GMT on September 10, a 6.5-magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Sulawesi Island, Central Indonesia.
The USGS said the quake's epicenter was at a depth of 20km, 220km south of the town of Manado, North Sulawesi.
Indonesian authorities did not issue a tsunami warning after the earthquake./.
