Buckwheat flower fields in Nghe An attract thousands of visitors every day

This buckwheat flower field is due toThe 19/5 Agricultural Service Cooperative (Nghia Binh Commune, Nghia Dan) planted the flowers. According to Mr. Le Sy Dinh - Director of the Cooperative, the flowers were planted at the end of October 2017, after he visited the Buckwheat Flower Festival in Ha Giang Province. He learned about the planting method as well as the tourism method from buckwheat flowers of the Mong people in this province. After planting, thanks to the suitable climate, the buckwheat flowers grew and developed well, now the whole flower garden is in full bloom, attracting many tourists to admire. On the first day of the New Year, his family opened the flower field, and it is estimated that more than 3,000 visitors have come to visit.
When visiting the buckwheat flower garden, visitors can not only admire the beauty of the flowers, but also borrow Mong ethnic costumes to take photos.

The entrance fee to the buckwheat flower garden is 10,000 VND/visit; each day Mr. Dinh earns several million VND (the first day he earned more than 15 million VND), not including the parking fee of 5,000 VND/visit. Visitors are people from Vinh city, Hanoi, Thanh Hoa and neighboring areas in the province.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Khanh, a tourist from Nghe An, said: "Seeing my friends traveling to take pictures of the beautiful buckwheat flowers in Ha Giang, I really liked it. Now that there are buckwheat flowers in Nghia Dan, my classmates and I took advantage of our day off to go there to visit and take pictures. The fruit fields are really wonderful."
Ms. Truong Thi Tu, a tourist from Thanh Hoa, added: “I live in Thanh Hoa, near the border of Nghia Dan district. When I heard the news, I immediately came here... When I arrived, I found it very bustling and attractive. The flower growing area is also very convenient for tourists to admire, film clips, and take souvenir photos.”
Mr. Le Sy Dinh added: "Buckwheat flowers are expected to bloom until the end of January 2018. When visiting the buckwheat flower garden, visitors will also be able to visit stalls selling typical products of Nghia Dan district such as oranges, grapefruits, guavas, apples...".
Buckwheat flowers are white when they first bloom, then gradually turn to light purple, and finally dark purple. Buckwheat seeds are also used to make cakes and wine, which are famous specialties in Ha Giang province.
