(Baonghean.vn) - On January 29, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session with the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to evaluate the coordination results between the People's Committee and the Fatherland Front Committee in 2014 and deploy tasks in 2015.

Over the past year, the coordination between the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee continued to achieve many good results, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of each side's activities. The results of implementing the coordination regulations were evaluated in 6 areas: law making and propaganda to mobilize the people; recommendations and responses to recommendations of the Fatherland Front; information exchange regime; receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations; monitoring activities; foreign affairs activities.

In particular, remarkable results have been achieved in ensuring social security, building national solidarity and protecting national security and defense: Successfully organizing the program "Tet for the poor - Spring Giap Ngo 2014" with donations of 9.7 billion VND from 163 units and individuals; well organizing the National Great Unity Day in residential areas associated with the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front; supporting more than 11.1 billion VND for forces on duty at sea and organizing visits and giving 541 gifts worth 1.13 billion VND.

Entering 2015 - the final year of implementing the socio-economic development plan 2011 - 2015 and the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, the year of holding Party Congresses at all levels for the 2015 - 2020 term, continuing to implement Resolution 26 of the Politburo, it is necessary to continue promoting coordination between the two sides. Guidance and criticism are two indispensable directions in all tasks - directing, implementing, advising, supervising... Creating consensus between the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee is to connect the government with all classes of people, build a great solidarity bloc and also be the core of social strength.
