(Baonghean) - On September 12, 2014, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1462/QD-UBND on allowing the establishment of the Hoang Mai Town Small and Medium Enterprises Association. The Association is an organization representing nearly 200 enterprises in Hoang Mai Town with the task of gathering, uniting members, coordinating common activities among members for the common interests of the Association, contributing to the construction of the homeland.

Hoang Mai town currently has nearly 200 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) operating in various fields of production and business, notably in the fields of tourism services, stone mining, seafood processing, construction materials production... Many enterprises have contributed a lot to the budget and created many jobs for workers in the area such as: Xuan Chung Company, Nghe An Stone Mining Company, Xuan Quynh Company Limited, Thai An Thanh Company, Hoang Mai Medical Joint Stock Company, Limited Companies: Binh Minh, Thanh Cong, Long Thanh, Phuong Mai, Lam Dai Nam...

With a large number of enterprises, realizing the need to gather members into an organization to connect more information, more strength, and support each other in socio-economic development, leading enterprises have contacted, mobilized and enterprises in the area have enthusiastically participated in establishing the association. Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Former General Director of Lung Lo Construction Company (Ministry of National Defense) is the most active person in mobilizing the establishment of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Hoang Mai Town. Mr. Hung shared: “As a native of Quynh Dy - Hoang Mai, although my family is in Hanoi, I always turn to my hometown, wishing to contribute my efforts to building the young town. I hope to establish the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of the town and the association will develop strongly, the member enterprises will unite, confidently build a rich and beautiful homeland. The association will also actively attract more investors from other provinces to build the town.

The establishment of the Association of SMEs in Hoang Mai Town will represent members in internal and external relations related to the functions and tasks of the association, protect the legitimate rights and interests of members in accordance with the association's principles and purposes as prescribed by law; participate in programs, research projects, consulting, social criticism and appraisal, provide public services on issues within the association's field of operation, organize vocational training and vocational training as prescribed by law or establish a legal support center. Participate in giving opinions on legal documents related to the association's activities as prescribed by the association, make recommendations to competent state agencies on issues related to the association's development and field of operation. The association will represent members to participate in and make recommendations to competent agencies on policies and guidelines related to the association's field of operation as prescribed by law.

All legal businesses in Hoang Mai Town that agree with the Association's Charter are official members of the Association. By participating in the Association, members are protected by the Association's legal rights and interests according to the provisions of law, are provided with information related to the Association's field of operation, and are allowed to participate in discussions and decisions on the Association's working policies. The Association's slogan for action is "Solidarity - Confidence in joining hands to build a rich and beautiful homeland".

The establishment of the Association of SMEs in Hoang Mai Town, connecting with the Association of SMEs in Nghe An and other localities across the country, will create more relationships, more strength, and more opportunities for businesses to develop, contributing to the construction of Hoang Mai homeland, worthy of the economic potential of the dynamic region of Nam Thanh - Bac Nghe with major projects that the province is expecting and paying attention to.
