Donald Trump warns of 'riot' if he is not nominated
In an interview with CNN's "New Day" program on March 16, US presidential candidate Donald Trump warned of the risk of "riots" around the Republican National Convention if he fails to win the 1,273 electoral votes needed to be automatically nominated and the party decides to choose another candidate.

The billionaire's remarks came after he won the primaries in Florida, Illinois and North Carolina, extending his lead over his closest rival, Senator Ted Cruz, by 200 electoral votes. The candidate is confident he will win enough electoral votes before the Republican convention opens on July 18 in Cleveland.
At the same time, Donald Trump warned that if he did not win enough 1,272 votes and the Republican Party chose a candidate with fewer electoral votes than him, then violence would occur because he was representing millions of miserable people.
Mr. Trump is almost certain to win the most electoral votes when the primary round ends in June, but many donors and Republican officials are concerned that Mr. Trump’s nomination will have a negative impact on the party and on other elections, such as Senate and House races.
Therefore, it is possible that this party will find every way to prevent this leading candidate from becoming its official candidate./.
