Super Cup echoes: Xuan Manh and the message to U23 Vietnam
Returning from the continental runner-up achievement, the two U23 Vietnam stars, Van Duc and Xuan Manh, could not have a performance that met expectations in the Super Cup - Thaco Cup 2017, even leaving behind disappointment.

It is understandable that fans have high expectations for Van Duc and Xuan Manh, when the U23 Vietnam brand is still very "hot". However, that love and admiration, which is somewhat excessive, has created a lot of pressure for the U23 players, making it impossible for them to have a performance as desired.
The only goal that caused SLNA to lose the Super Cup to Quang Nam, sadly, came from Xuan Manh's mistake. In the 42nd minute, from a dangerous free kick by Quang Nam, Xuan Manh jumped up and missed the ball, creating an opportunity for Thiago to tap the ball in close to the goal, scoring a goal for Quang Nam.
At the U23 Asian Cup, Xuan Manh did not make a similar mistake, even when he was the second choice at left-back. Meanwhile, it is difficult to say that Van Duc played well, even leaving regrets when missing several good opportunities.
