The project “Drainage and Flood Control in Medium-sized Urban Areas in Coastal Region of Vietnam” will be implemented in the period 2013-2017, with the aim of enhancing the capacity of relevant agencies and communities to respond to urban flooding in the current context of climate change.

Vinh City: Speeding up the implementation of drainage and waste treatment projects

After receiving instructions from the People's Committee of Nghe An province to speed up the progress of the drainage and waste treatment project at Nghi Yen Solid Waste Complex (Nghi Loc) to ensure putting 01 production line into use by the end of May 2011 and handing over the entire project by the end of July 2011, the People's Committee of Vinh city directed and urged the investor and contractor to focus on human resources, material resources, and equipment to speed up the construction progress.
