(Baonghean)The Ban Mong irrigation project has 4 components, including the component of compensation for resettlement of people out of the reservoir area, managed by the Ban Mong Irrigation Management Board (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development).

According to the investigation, the number of households that must be relocated and resettled is 361 households in the communes of Chau Binh, Chau Hoi, Chau Nga, Chau Hanh and Yen Lac Town (Quy Chau). The damaged area is nearly 2,200 hectares including agricultural land, forestry land and residential land. The cost of compensation and resettlement of the remaining reservoir area is more than 1,324 billion VND. The Ban Mong Irrigation Management Board has established a project to arrange 2 resettlement areas: Ban Dung Resettlement Area, Yen Hop Commune, Quy Hop and Khe An Resettlement Area. Currently, the Ban Mong Irrigation Project Management Board and Quy Chau District have not yet relocated people from the reservoir area because there is no capital source.
