Tourists excited about Nghe An dishes at the International Food Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - Within the framework of Hue Festival 2018, from April 26 to May 2, 2018, the International Food Festival - Hue 2018 will take place.
With booth scale and display space up to more than 50m2, 4 Nghe An enterprises participated in the culinary booth at the festival, in addition to introducing the main tourist destinations, also focused on introducing tourist destinations associated with Nghe cuisine. Specialties recognized as Asian records, Vietnamese records were introduced at the fair such as: eel porridge, eel soup, Nam Dan soy sauce, mountain goat, walking chicken, Nam Nghia ham, fish sauce, Vinh oranges, turmeric starch... received the response of hundreds of tourists.

The festival is organized by the Thua Thien Hue Tourism Association to honor the unique features and quintessence of Vietnamese culinary culture in general and Hue cuisine in particular.
This culinary festival brings together artisans and famous chefs with unique dishes from all over the country and the region, creating a culinary festival imbued with regional identity.
The festival has 90 booths divided into 3 areas: International cuisine area; 3 Regions cuisine area and Hue cuisine area.
In addition to 20 delegations from provinces and cities across the country, the festival also has the participation of international delegations from Laos, Thailand, China, France, Italy, and Russia. This festival will take place with the main activity of serving dishes at booths from early morning until 22:00 every day.
In addition to culinary services, the festival also has activities such as art performances by domestic and foreign groups participating in Hue Festival 2018 on the main stage; exchanges, meetings, and introductions of cocktails mixed from local wines; bartender performances by artisans combined with a number of activities promoting handicraft products and Hue specialties.

Participating in the Festival is an opportunity for Nghe An to be honored and promoted, introducing tourist destinations combining Nghe An culinary culture to domestic and international tourists, while strengthening links in tourism development throughout the country.
