Three-region tourism 'stretches out' to serve guests
The influx of people to entertainment areas has caused many places to be overloaded. Most entertainment areas have had to "stretch" their entire service system to best serve customers.
In most entertainment areas in the North, Central and South, the number of people flocking to the area has increased tenfold, even hundreds of times compared to normal days.
Overload in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City
In Hanoi, due to the large number of people going out, the entertainment areas and tourist attractions in Hanoi are overloaded.
As early as 8am, the ticket booths at Thu Le Park were already crowded with people waiting to buy tickets. They were able to get in, but many families had to wait half an hour to get their turn to play the games here. Many families brought food and mats to eat and rest on the spot.
In other commercial centers such as Times City (458 Minh Khai, Hanoi), Royal City (Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan district), it is estimated that thousands of people came to have fun. Although Times City only opened at 9:30 am, many people were waiting before that. At the ticket counter area, due to the large number of people, to get a ticket in hand, people had to wait in long lines, at least 15-20 minutes from 10 am to 11 am.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the flow of people to entertainment areas is equally crowded. Suoi Tien Cultural Park (District 9) has thousands of people bringing their children here. At the entrance to Suoi Tien, many people line up to buy tickets. Inside the tourist area, thousands of people jostle and line up to move. Many people have to sweat to get through the 'sea of people'. Many children are carried on their parents' shoulders because they cannot walk.
At Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11), and the Zoo (District 1), the number of visitors coming here to visit and have fun is also quite large. The situation of jostling to move around and lining up to play games is quite common.
The number of visitors increased dramatically in Da Nang
During the holidays, the number of tourists flocking to tourist destinations in Da Nang also increased dramatically. Da Nang is chosen as a resort by the majority of people from the North, especially Hanoi. It will not be surprising if you accidentally meet a colleague in the same office, or a neighbor of yours leisurely walking on the beach. It is also for this reason that the streets of Da Nang, which are usually deserted, suddenly become crowded and noisy. And these days in Da Nang, to hail a taxi also requires patience from tourists.
Since the holiday, the amusement park in Ba Na has welcomed 20,000 visitors every day. Ba Na Hills tourist area has just opened the French Village with ancient French architecture and has an indoor Fantasy amusement park, so it attracts a lot of tourists. The Love Flower Garden attracts many people to visit and take pictures. Most of the services in Ba Na Hills such as: mountain train, visiting the wax statue area... attract a lot of visitors.
When there are too many visitors, the staff at the amusement parks have to work all night to try to provide the best service. Arriving at Ba Na Hills at 12am, the resort's technical team was still completing the construction of the fence to serve the queue for visitors.
“With a fence to line up, customers will be less congested, more orderly and their turn will come faster,” said Le Xuan Nghi, a member of the technical team. He said that not only the technical team has to work at night, but most of the staff here are working at a capacity many times higher than usual. For example, ticket sellers go to work at 5am to issue tickets for customers to board the cable car at 6am, ticket inspectors, ticket inspectors, restaurants… have lunch at 3pm and work until midnight without a break.

Despite the sudden influx of visitors, all activities were carried out in a fairly orderly and disciplined manner. Tourists lined up as instructed by security guards. A traffic diversion plan was also considered. Private vehicles were forced to stop about 2km away. The Ba Na Hills Tourism Management Board provided free shuttle service to and from the site, every 15 minutes.
Due to the large number of visitors, there are many cases of visitors forgetting and dropping things. Also today, Ba Na Hills tourist area picked up and returned to 4 visitors who forgot things at the restaurant and amusement park with a total estimated value of about 300 million VND, including nearly 200 million VND in cash and many other valuable assets.
Many other tourist areas in Da Nang such as Son Tra peninsula also have thousands of visitors coming to visit Linh Ung pagoda and stops such as: Vong Canh House, Ban Co peak. In which, diving and coral viewing tours are very attractive to tourists.
With an open tourism mindset and efforts for tourists like some of the above mentioned tourist areas, perhaps Vietnamese tourists will become more and more interested in domestic destinations.
