The launching ceremony was held with the aim of raising environmental awareness among all tourism businesses and workers in the tourism sector.

At the launching ceremony, Nghe An Tourism Association called on businesses to minimize the use of plastic products. Businesses should form awareness and habits of collecting and treating plastic waste thoroughly, in the right place, according to regulations, ensuring green and clean criteria at destinations.

Currently, Nghe An serves more than 6 million visitors each year. Nghe An Tourism Association calls on businesses to become the ones to convey “green behavior culture” to tourists when coming to Nghe An; to become exemplary and civilized hosts in the issue of limiting plastic waste, inspiring tourists to respond and join hands in implementation.
