(Baonghean.vn) -The project to invest in the construction of a rural electricity supply project from the national grid in Nghe An province is a key project of the Northern Power Corporation and Nghe An province with the goal of supplying electricity to 16 central communes of the three districts of Tuong Duong, Ky Son, and Quy Chau.
Mr. Va No Chua - Chairman of Muong Long Commune People's Committee shared: Muong Long is a highland commune of Ky Son district. The whole commune has 863 households, 4,382 people. For generations, this land has not had grid electricity, some villages located near the stream area use mini hydroelectric power but sometimes have and sometimes do not, depending on the weather. However, that is still luckier than many other households far from the stream that have to use oil lamps. Without electricity, people's lives are extremely difficult, material and spiritual life is poor. Therefore, when we heard that there was a project to bring grid electricity to the people, we were very excited, the people created all conditions to support the electricity industry.
Mr. Le Quang Thanh - Head of Project Management Board, Nghe An Electricity Company said, we are striving from now until before the provincial party congress to connect electricity to the centers of 5 communes: Muong Long, Bac Ly, Pa Danh, Na Loi, Chau Hoan and by the end of the year to complete the remaining communes to serve people to celebrate Lunar New Year.To achieve the set goals, in the coming time, the workload is very large, therefore, Nghe An Electricity Company, all levels, sectors and localities make special efforts.urgently speed up construction progress.
