Deepening the cooperation relationship between Nghe An and Shizuoka (Japan)
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 22, on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, a delegation of Nghe An province led by Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai visited and paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of Shizuoka province (Japan).
Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Akihito Yoshibayashi - Deputy Governor and leaders of departments and branches of Shizuoka province, Japan.
The leaders of the two sides informed each other about the political, economic, cultural situation and achievements in foreign affairs of each province.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai acknowledged the support and cooperation of Shizuoka province with Nghe An in the past time; at the same time expressed the desire to strengthen cooperation with Shizuoka in the fields of culture; education and training, tourism...
Particularly in the agricultural sector, Nghe An hopes that Shizuoka will focus on cooperation in transferring science and technology to develop tea plants and process tea products, because Nghe An owns a large tea growing area.

In order to establish an increasingly deep and cooperative relationship between the two provinces, comrade Le Xuan Dai proposed that Japan and Shizuoka Province support investment in building cultural works at the Phan Boi Chau memorial site; and help Nghe An Province collect artifacts about the life and career of patriot Phan Boi Chau.
Comrade Le Xuan Dai also respectfully conveyed the invitation of Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh to the leaders of Shizuoka Province and Fukuroi City to visit and work in Nghe An as soon as possible.
At the meeting, Shizuoka Deputy Governor Akihito Yoshibayashi said that there are currently 82 establishments of 67 Shizuoka enterprises operating in Vietnam. Shizuoka Province has established an investment support advisory board for enterprises to cooperate and invest in Vietnam.Regarding cooperation with Nghe An province, Deputy Governor Akihito Yoshibayashi highly appreciated the efforts of the two provinces in recent times, with the highlight being the activities of JICA in Nghe An in the field of agriculture, supporting the development of high-tech agricultural projects. In addition, the number of Vietnamese students and workers in Shizuoka is currently increasing rapidly.
Mr. Akihito Yoshibayashi hopes that in the coming time, the two provinces will have deeper exchanges and cooperation, contributing to the sustainable development of the strategic friendship between Vietnam and Japan. On the side of the Fukuroi city leaders, they hope to establish friendly relations with Vinh city.
