Putting into use the upgraded project of Lach Van fishing port

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 1, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An conducted the acceptance and handover of the project to upgrade Lach Van fishing port, in Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district.

The project to upgrade Lach Van fishing port, invested by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, was started at the end of 2013. The project covers an area of ​​over 7,000 square meters, including items such as upgrading and expanding the fishing port, building market stalls, canopies, product sales tables, wastewater treatment system, clean water system, etc. The total capital for this project is 34 billion VND, sponsored by the World Bank (WB).

After acceptance, the Department of Agriculture assessed that the project ensured quality and progress. The Department handed it over to Dien Ngoc commune and the Fishing Port Management Board for use, and committed to promoting efficiency in developing the marine economy in Dien Chau.

Lach Van fishing port has just been upgraded.
