Dugarry: 'Instead of playing football, Neymar focuses on provoking opponents'

The French legend criticized the PSG superstar's playing style, especially the way he performed in the draw with Marseille.

Neymar has 10 goals in his first 11 games for PSG. But on the other hand, the Brazilian star's dribbling can easily lead to fouls and strong reactions from opponents.

Dugarry criticized: "Neymar must have thought he was playing football in his room, or playing futsal with his friends. He was focused on provoking his opponents. That was not helpful."

Dugarry (right) is not satisfied with what Neymar is performing at PSG.

In the latest match where PSG drew 2-2 with Marseille, after reacting by pushing his opponent, Neymar received a second yellow card. This is also the eighth time in his career that the Brazilian star has been sent off.

"What happened last Sunday was unbearable. It was hard to enjoy Neymar. He played like he was playing in his own garden, not even looking at his teammates. It was the worst match I have ever seen from Neymar," Dugarry assessed.

This is not the first time Dugarry has criticized the world's most expensive player. The 1998 World Cup winner once criticized Neymar after he fought with Cavani over a penalty kick.
