Bravely selflessly saved 4 drowning children
On the morning of May 2, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Huong - Principal of Do Luong 1 High School said that the school is coordinating with the family to organize the funeral for Nguyen Van Nam (class 12T7, hometown Trung Son commune, Do Luong district) who died on the afternoon of April 30, after bravely saving 4 children from drowning.
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 2, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Huong - Principal of Do Luong 1 High School said that the school is coordinating with the family to organize the funeral for Nguyen Van Nam (class 12T7, hometown Trung Son commune, Do Luong district) who died on the afternoon of April 30, after bravely saving 4 children from drowning.
According to information from the school, yesterday afternoon (May 1), while standing on the bank of Lam River, flowing through Trung Son Commune (Do Luong District), Nam heard a cry for help from a group of children in the river, so he swam out to save them. After saving 4 children who were drowning, Nam was exhausted, drowned and died. By the afternoon of the same day, Nam's body was found and brought back to his family for burial.
Nguyen Van Nam was born into a poor family, facing many difficulties, but he has overcome difficulties and achieved many high academic achievements. In the first semester, Nam received the school's "poor student overcoming difficulties" scholarship.
Nam's brave act of sacrificing himself to save others is admirable and should be commended and receive timely sharing and support.
