1. "Being a mother" to my grandchildren

The 3-year-old child calls his grandparents “dad” and “mom” because he is not old enough to understand his biological mother and her presence in the world. But Mrs. Hoan understands clearly and every time she sees her grandchild, she feels regretful for her carelessness. As a farming woman, she worries about the fields day and night to support her family, forgetting about her eldest daughter who has entered the age of love.

One time, the girl complained of a stomachache, her mother took her to the doctor and was shocked when the doctor concluded, "Move to the hospital to prepare for childbirth." Only then did the girl tell the truth that while working in the fields at dusk, an eel catcher invited her to "act like an adult" and she agreed. Her daughter was only 14 years old, and she had never confided in her to know that she had fallen in love. She only knew how to work to provide her with enough food and clothing. During the 9 months and 10 days she was pregnant, she did not know because she still went to school normally like other children and did not show any strange signs for her to pay attention to. The baby was not welcomed by the family, and her father did not know about her existence. Her family's story became the topic of discussion in the village. She was not afraid of shame and humiliation, but she regretted that the mother's carelessness had ruined her daughter's future. At the age of 14, she had to drop out of school to learn to be a mother. When the child was over 1 year old, she sent her far away to work, hoping that she would have a chance to find happiness and ease the "pain" of her first life.

2. "My child is just being manipulated"

That was the only sentence the mother used to justify her 16-year-old son who had committed the crime of "theft of property" for the fifth time. After being asked about the reason for the crime, the boy burst into tears: "Since my parents divorced, no one has cared about me. I have been living with my mother, but since my mother had a lover, she was often away from home, so I followed my friends to "rebel" to find joy." Then the boy cried again, looking at his mother who was standing in the corner of the room. That woman was Minh - a former bank employee but was disciplined and fired for her loose lifestyle. Since leaving her husband, Minh has followed one man after another just for the purpose of revenge. Despite her son entering adolescence needing the mother's protection, Minh was willing to go months without returning to her men. Her son, from a good student, after the family shock, became quiet and stubborn. He dropped out of school and followed his bad friends to commit thefts to earn money to play games. And standing in front of the bar today was inevitable. The trial ended with an 18-month prison sentence for the child. The mother bowed her head and wiped away tears of late regret.

3. Angry husband - "cut the child"

Standing in front of the court, the mother could not say anything because there was no excuse for the crime she committed. She had a husband and three beautiful daughters. The simple happiness that seemed to last forever suddenly disappeared because her husband had a mistress. After months of hard work, she caught her husband red-handed with a young woman in a situation where the man was on top of the woman. She cursed her husband with harsh words, and her husband could not bear it and slapped her. She was resentful and sought revenge on her husband. Blind jealousy turned her into a terrible wife and a cruel and evil mother when she personally put poison in the soup of her three children to... "revenge on her husband". Luckily for her, her husband returned in time to save the lives of the three innocent children. She went to jail, and her husband took a new wife. The sad ending that she had not thought of before her reckless actions. The long months in prison were an opportunity for the sinful woman to examine her conscience, the conscience of a mother who had the heart to harm the children she gave birth to.

In conclusion:

The above stories are just three of the many heartbreaking consequences that mothers and children have to endure because of the carelessness of their parents. Hopefully, this is also a warning for parents to care and be more responsible for their children.
