Clash between two loan shark groups, 1 person shot dead
Originally, two cars carrying more than 10 underlings came to Hoang Anh's house to threaten him, but he was the one shot dead.
On the afternoon of September 21, the Criminal Police Department (Ha Tinh Police) said that the shooting in Duc Lac commune (Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh) that caused the death of Tran Cao Nguyen (34 years old) originated from a feud between two loan shark groups.
According to authorities, at around 4:30 p.m. on September 20, Nguyen went to the house of Le Hoang Anh (30 years old) in Duc Lac commune to resolve a conflict. The two sides immediately got into a fight. Hoang Anh took out a gun and shot Nguyen in the heart.
After committing the crime, Hoang Anh fled the scene.

People in this area said that they saw Nguyen's group of more than 10 people in two cars, holding weapons, entering Hoang Anh's house.
"A few minutes later, I heard gunshots. I ran to see the young men carrying Nguyen to the car and taking him to the hospital for emergency treatment. At that time, Hoang Anh had fled the scene. His family was panicking," said a resident.
Authorities believe the weapon used to shoot Mr. Nguyen was most likely a hunting gun.
