Stop selling canned meat containing dirty cooking oil from Taiwan
On September 15, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) announced the suspension of circulation and recall of canned cucumber mixed with pork and canned spicy meat sauce containing dirty cooking oil from Taiwan.

According to information from the Food Safety Department, the Department has just received information from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi announcing that Cuu Huong Trading Service Co., Ltd. imported from Taiwan two types of products of Wei Chuan Food Industry Joint Stock Company (Taiwan) containing dirty cooking oil.
Products include canned picked cucumber with pork: 170g, 240 cartons, production date: May 1, 2014, expiration date: May 1, 2017.
Canned minced meat with chilli: 150g, 240 cartons, production date: May 31, 2014, expiration date: May 31, 2017.
The Food Safety Department requested Cuu Huong Trading Service Company Limited to immediately stop circulation, urgently recall the above products and report the results to the Department before September 20.
The Department of Health directed the authorities to conduct inspections and reviews of the two above-mentioned products on the market and promptly recall them.
