At around 8:30 a.m. on August 15, at a dog meat restaurant in Block 1, Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district, a rare accident occurred when a woman chasing ducks on a corrugated iron roof unfortunately fell to the ground and was seriously injured.

The white plastic replacement sheet metal broke, causing the woman to fall onto the brick floor.

The victim’s family said that at the time, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thich, 49 years old, was at home on the second floor when she discovered a duck that had escaped and was running on the corrugated iron roof (the corrugated iron roof is attached to the second floor). Ms. Thich immediately chased after it to catch it, but when she walked on the corrugated iron roof that was replaced with white plastic, it broke, causing her to fall to the yard.

Immediately after the accident, the victim's family called an ambulance and took Ms. Thich to the hospital in critical condition.
