Vinh-Vientiane route will operate with a frequency of 4 flights/week
On January 12, 2014, Vietnam Airlines will officially operate a new international flight route Vinh - Vientiane (Laos). Accordingly, the flight route between Vinh - Vientiane will be operated with a frequency of 4 flights/week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays using ATR - 72 aircraft. Flights will depart from Vinh City at 08:40 and from Vientiane at 10:25 (local time) with a flight time of more than 1 hour.

This is the first international route that Vietnam Airlines launched in 2014, after 5 international routes were opened in 2013; thereby expanding the airline's flight network to 93 routes to 29 international destinations and 21 domestic destinations.
On the occasion of opening the new route, Vietnam Airlines is offering special promotional fares: one-way Vinh – Vientiane from only 190,000 VND (equivalent to 9 USD) for departures from January 12 to January 31, 2014 and round-trip fares from 820,000 VND (equivalent to 39 USD) for departures from January 12 to March 31, 2014. Prices do not include taxes, fees, and surcharges.
Tickets issued in the Vietnamese market, one-way ticket issuance period Vinh - Vientiane from January 3 - 31, 2014, round-trip ticket from December 23, 2013 to February 23, 2014.
