Because the road is mountainous, it is very steep, and vehicles serving production already have great difficulty moving, and now the road is severely degraded, making it even more difficult. Some sections of the road that were too bumpy have been filled with white stone, but after a while, everything is back to normal. This is the main road to Giai Xuan commune, Tan Hop, so there are many vehicles carrying construction materials, sugar cane, and minerals.

People have a hard time traveling because the roads are in disrepair.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Can, Tan Lap hamlet, Tan Hop, opened a tea shop on this road. Every day, she witnessed the road getting more and more damaged. She shared: "This is the main road going through the commune, but for many years now it has been seriously degraded. Even if we pour white stone, the effect is still not high, sometimes it is harmful to the environment." She also said that the people here are mainly Tho ethnic people, who mainly work in agriculture, so their lives face many difficulties. According to some households in Giai Xuan commune, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., there are many trucks carrying stone from Hoang Danh stone mining company running on this road, mainly large trucks, sometimes even container trucks. Not only does it damage the road but it also causes a lot of dust, causing many people to petition the authorities.

There are some patches but very roughly.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Ba Mao - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Hop - Tan Ky commune said: "Tan Hop is a particularly difficult commune of Tan Ky. Roads in Tan Hop commune are still mainly dirt roads, asphalt roads account for a small proportion, but are also heavily damaged. The commune's 1,026 households are mostly Tho ethnic people, agricultural production is the main source of income, so the economy is still difficult. Traffic is degraded, travel and production development are further affected."
