Road in Quynh Phuong commune turned into ...pond

This road connects the hamlets in the commune with provincial road 537B, leading to the office of the People's Committee of Quynh Phuong commune and the kindergarten. On the road, there are many potholes. When it is sunny, dust flies everywhere, when it rains, the road turns into ponds and deep puddles right in the middle of the road. Every day, many heavy trucks pass by, causing further damage to the road.

For many years, this damaged, degraded road has been neglected.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chau - Chairman of Quynh Phuong Commune People's Committee, said: "Currently, the commune does not have funds to repair the road. We are submitting a request to the District People's Committee for funding. For now, we will have trucks transport gravel and rocks to fill in the severely damaged areas, but this method will not last long because the road is too badly damaged."
